External images

The photos of the apartment are loaded from the external server img.travanto.de. Your IP address is transmitted to this server so that the images can be delivered to your browser.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not set cookies and does not use tracking or analytics services. Your location is not requested.

Interactive map (OpenStreetMap)

To display the day-trip destinations we use the Leaflet library and map data from OpenStreetMap. When the map is displayed, your browser loads map tiles from the server of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (tile.openstreetmap.org, United Kingdom). Your IP address is transmitted in the process and may be stored there in server logs. The map is only loaded once you scroll to the relevant section. Weather data (Open-Meteo)

The weather for Osterode am Harz is retrieved by our server from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com). Your browser only communicates with our server; your IP address or other data about you is not transmitted to Open-Meteo. Only the fixed coordinates of Osterode are queried.

External links to booking portals

This website links to Harz-Travel, Airbnb, FeWo-direkt, Vrbo and the town of Osterode. When you click a link you leave our site; the operators of the target sites are solely responsible for data processing there. Please refer to their privacy policies.

Storage period

  • Server logs: automatically deleted after 30 days
  • Email correspondence: up to 3 years for support purposes
